FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT P10 AND P20

Why is P20 different from other sun protection products?
P20 is a unique product which works in a totally different way to other brands. Its unique once-a-day application is its strongest selling point. It needs recommendation and explanation.

Is it really effective if applied once a day?
Yes if the instructions are followed carefully and the product applied correctly. The filters in P10 and P20 are highly photostable which means they don’t break down as quickly as non-photo stable filters. The filters remain active for 10 hours, so the product does not need to be re-applied during the day.

What is the difference between P20 and P10?
P10 has an SPF of 10, meaning it excludes 90% of the sun’s burning rays. P20 has an SPF of 20, meaning it excludes 95%. A sun protection with a 50% excludes 98%, showing that the additional protection of a higher SPF is marginal.

How should I apply P20?
Apply in the shade, 15 minutes before you go into the sun. Apply generously, paying particular attention to the vulnerable parts of the body such as your nose, ears, scalp, shoulders, chest and feet.

How does it work?
It has a thin gel consistency, ensuring an even and economic coverage. It’s absorbed rapidly, so there are none of the messy white streaks common with cream-based products.

Will I still get a tan with P10 and P20?
P10 and P20 protect against the “burning” UVB rays and UVA rays, but still allows through some UVA rays, which allow you to get a gradual tan without burning.

Is there any instance when P10 and P20 must be re-applied?
Only if you have vigorously rubbed yourself with a towel, loofah, soap or have been wearing tight clothes after applying the product.

Should P10 and P20 be re-applied after swimming?
No, both P10 and P20 have been classified as “very water resistant” and remain so even after swimming frequently throughout the day.

Can I use P10 and P20 under make-up and moisturising cream?
Yes, just allow 15 minutes after applying before using make–up and cream as per your usual routine.

Are P10 and P20 safe for children?
Both are suitable sunscreens for children. Remember though that babies and small children should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
